Shibuya 24 hours
Story
This semester, I am exchanging in Japan and living near Shibuya. I take trains in Shibuya almost every time if I want to go to other places. The thing that impresses me most in Shibuya is its scramble crossing. It is recognized as "the busiest pedestrian intersection in the world". According to the 2014 flow measurement survey by the Shibuya Redevelopment Association, about 260,000 pedestrians per day on week days, and 390,000 pedestrians on non-working days. Shibuya Scramble Crossing also presents in many films which take place in Tokyo, such as Lost in Translation, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Alice in Borderland, and Resident Evil: Afterlife. Todaym it is a symbol of Tokyo and Japan.
I usually pass there in the afternoon and see there is a large number of people. But one day I got there in the morning and there were fewer people than I expected. So I think it can be interesting to make an artchart to show how Shibuya scramble crossing looks like in 24 hours.
